Candidates for Change! By Barefaced Theatre Company
Oh how I laughed, chuckled, almost cried with emotion and found myself wanting to clap when the token baddie man in the performance got kneed in the balls!
Stuart Barrow, writer of this wonderful production, managed to seamlessly entwine politics, personalities and the life issues that everyone faces at some point or other, including unemployment, infidelity, overbearing mother syndrome… you get my drift… and yet I left feeling touched and inspired to always stay true to yourself and follow your dreams… not quite what I’d expected from this political satire. Acting was strong. Venue intimate. It finished at the weekend so lets hope it goes on tour.
